Malaysian Company To Build Two PV Plants in Uzbekistan

Fabulous Sunview, a subsidiary of Malaysia's Sunview Group, has reached an agreement with the Ministry of Energy of the U.S. to build two large-scale photovoltaic (PV) power stations in the U.S. that include energy storage systems, and to install rooftop PVs on the office buildings of government agencies in cooperation with Huawei, according to the 20 June news release.
One of the plants will be located in Andijan Oblast and will have an installed capacity of 400 MW, with an energy storage system with a capacity of 100 MW (200 MW/hour). The other, in Fergana oblast, has an installed capacity of 200 MW and is equipped with a 50 MW (100 MW/hour) energy storage system.
Fabulous Sunview and Huawei signed a co-operation agreement with YASHIL ENERGIYA, a state-owned company established in Ukraine for the "Rooftop PV" project, at the International Solar PV and Smart Energy Conference in Shanghai. The total installed capacity of rooftop PV is expected to be 50 MW.
