Cubic-owned 350MW Solar Management Software in Mexico

Aug 24, 2022

Fluence Energy Inc has won a contract to deliver asset performance management software for a 350 MW solar park owned by Mexico's Cubico Sustainable Investments.

On Monday (22 August), the company said the energy storage and digital applications joint venture of US power generation group AES Corp (NYSE:AES) and German industrial group Siemens AG (ETR:SIE) had been hired to improve the performance of the Solem I and Solem II solar farms in the city of El Llano.

To carry out the task, Fluence will deploy its Nispera asset performance management software at both sites. The integration will allow the detection of possible budget deviations and propose measures to improve the production and revenue stream of the PV plants.

Fluence and Cubico are already working together on a range of projects in the US and EU, and Fluence is providing ongoing analysis and monitoring services for the London-based renewable energy investor's 626 MW solar power plant.
