PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Engineered for Fast, Reliable Roof Installation
WANHOS pitched tile roof mounting systems are developed for residential and commercial PV projects using clay, concrete or compatible interlocking roof tiles. Roof-hook and rail configurations are selected according to the tile profile, roof structure, module layout and local design loads.
01 Efficient Installation
Pre-assembled clamps and D-modules reduce loose parts and simplify installation with standard tools, helping installers save time and labor on site.
02 Roof-Specific Compatibility
Multiple roof-hook options help accommodate different tile profiles, structural member positions and roof details.
03 Flexible Module Layouts
The rail-based structure supports portrait or landscape layouts for most mainstream framed PV modules.
04 Project Engineering Support
Rail spans, hook spacing and component quantities can be reviewed against the roof structure, module layout, site wind speed, snow load and applicable local requirements.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS
A Complete, Installation-Ready System
The system is assembled from compatible rails, splices, module clamps, roof hooks and fasteners. Component quantities and hook types are calculated according to the roof structure and array layout.
01 Aluminum Mounting Rails - Structural rails for accurate module positioning and load transfer.
02 Rail Splice Kits - Compatible connectors for continuous and aligned rail installation.
03 Mid and End Clamps - Pre-assembled module clamps selected for the specified frame thickness.
04 Stainless Steel Roof Hooks - Hook options matched to the roof profile and structural requirements.
05 Fasteners and D-Modules - Required connection hardware for efficient installation.
APPLICATION
Designed Around the Roof-Not Just the Module
A roof tile is a weather covering, not the structural anchoring point. Roof hooks must be fixed to suitable structural roof members in accordance with the approved project design. Correct hook selection, clearance and installation practice help maintain tile integrity and weather protection.
✓ Residential and commercial pitched roofs
✓ Clay, concrete and compatible interlocking tiles
✓ Portrait or landscape module layouts
✓ New-build and retrofit PV projects
ENGINEERING INFORMATION REQUIRED
Information for an Accurate Mounting Proposal
Please provide the project location, roof plan, tile type, roof pitch, structural member size and spacing, module dimensions, module quantity and layout, plus the project wind and snow design requirements. Roof photographs or construction drawings can significantly improve configuration accuracy.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Pitched Tile Roof Mounting FAQ
What information is required for a quotation?
Please send the project location, roof and tile type, roof pitch, structural member dimensions and spacing, module size and quantity, proposed module layout, and local wind and snow design loads. Drawings and roof photographs are strongly recommended.
Is the roof hook fixed directly to the tile?
No. The tile is not a structural anchor. The hook must be fixed to a suitable structural roof member according to the approved design, while correct clearance is maintained to avoid placing damaging loads on the tile.
Can one roof hook fit every tile profile?
No. Hook geometry and adjustment range must match the tile profile, roof construction and required load capacity. WANHOS can recommend a suitable hook after reviewing the project details.
Is the system compatible with frameless PV modules?
The standard configuration is intended for framed modules. Frameless-module configurations may be available with approved clamps after the module specification and project requirements have been reviewed.
Can the system be customized for local wind and snow loads?
Yes. Rail spans, hook spacing, fasteners and component quantities can be configured according to the roof structure, array layout, environmental loads and applicable local design requirements.
