Lumeta Solar, a California PV module manufacturer, launched its  "Lumeta Lynx" series of solar modules at this year's SPI show, without  the use of borders, enabling quick installation, zero roof penetration  and improved product aesthetic design.

Low-profile, back-to-back borderless single crystal components can be  directly attached to the roof, significantly reducing the components in  the tiles, gravel and commercial roof installation time.

"Lumeta  Lynx products offer the lowest installation costs, which are more  attractive than traditional frame solar modules." Lumeta Solar CEO and  founder Timothy Davey said, "Our products come from customers who do not  need to penetrate the roof Solar product demand, and products designed to meet the needs of  household and commercial solar energy industry practitioners and the  design.

The Lumeta Lynx 60 product is a highly efficient 300W product with an  efficiency of 18.1%, designed for roof tiles and gravel roofs, with  plug-in mounting on the padded surface under the former installation  conditions.

Lumeta's  Lynx 72 product is a 360W component with an efficiency of 18.3% and is  designed for virtually any commercial roof installation. Lumeta Lynx products can be shipped from selected customers for the  fourth quarter of 2017 and are available in the US market in the first  quarter of 2018.

Lumeta  Lynx series components are said to be lighter than half of the front  glass components with borders and DuPont's ETFEs are used in the  manufacturing process to replace the glass front plate, which can be  dissipated and protected by FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) semi-rigid  backplane Solar battery.
