Italy's Latest Renewable Energy Auction Allocates 300 MW Of Solar

The Italian Energy Agency (GSE) has allocated 306 megawatts of capacity at the country's latest renewable energy auction. Of this, 300 MW is solar, and only one 6 MW wind project was selected.

Of the 34 solar projects selected, 27 will have a capacity below 10 MW, while the remaining eight projects will be between 11.8-53 MW in size. The lowest bid was €0.06036/kWh for a 7.8 MW project in central Italy.
