Ending Anti-dumping And Countervailing Measures Against Imports Of Solar Grade Polysilicon From The EU On November 1

From November 1, 2018, anti-dumping measures and countervailing measures applicable to imported solar grade polysilicon originating in the EU were terminated.
On April 30, 2014, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcements No. 25 and No. 26 of the year, and decided to implement anti-dumping measures and countervailing measures for imported solar grade polysilicon originating in the European Union. The implementation period is 2 years.
On April 28, 2017, the Ministry of Commerce issued the Announcement No. 22 and No. 23 of the year, and decided to implement anti-dumping measures and countervailing measures for imported solar grade polysilicon originating in the EU from May 1, 2017. The period is 18 months.
On March 15, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce issued the No. 30 Announcement of the Year, announcing that the above anti-dumping and countervailing measures will expire on October 31, 2018. Domestic industries or natural persons, legal persons or related organizations representing the domestic industry may 60 days before the expiration date of anti-dumping and countervailing measures, the application for final review will be submitted to the Ministry of Commerce in writing.
Within the time limit stipulated in the announcement, the domestic solar-grade polysilicon industry did not submit a final application for review, and the Ministry of Commerce also decided not to initiate a final review. In view of this, since November 1, 2018, anti-dumping measures and countervailing measures applicable to imported solar grade polysilicon originating in the EU have been terminated.
