Emmvee Opens New Solar Cell And Module Factory

The Emmvee Group is building a 1.5 GW cell production line in India with a combined PV module capacity of 1.75 GW and this new plant will allow it to expand its total solar module factory's capacity to 3 GW.

India's Emmvee Group, which currently has 1.25 GW of module capacity, has begun construction of a new 1.5 GW solar cell production line and 1.75 GW module production facility in Bangalore, India.
The company said, "The plant will feature state-of-the-art fully automated production lines with a floor area of 500,000 square feet."
The new production plan will expand the company's module production capacity to 3 GW and the module and cell facilities are scheduled to be operational by June 2023 and early 2024 respectively.
Emmvee Group Managing Director Manjunatha said, "This integrated manufacturing facility gives us greater control over our supply chain, offering the latest technology that meets global standards and requirements. As we break ground on the new facility, Emmvee will continue to meet the growing demand and support our customers' business continuity through just-in-time supply."
