British Energy Launches Feasibility Study For 300 MW Solar Energy Storage Plant in Tete Province, Mozambique

Ncondezi Energy UK has recently launched a feasibility study for the Mo 300 MW solar energy storage plant project. The project, located in Tete province, covers 25,000 hectares, has a potential generation capacity of 500 MW, with investments ranging from US$60 million to US$65 million and revenues of US$130 million to US$180 million over 25 years, and is expected to be completed and interconnected to the Mo national grid as early as 2024, with a purchase and sale agreement with Mo and the Southern African Power Pool Company.
