Azure Power Fully Commissions 300 MW Solar Farm in Rajasthan

Indian solar developer and generator Azure power Global Ltd today announced that it has fully commissioned a 300 MW solar power plant in the state of Rajasthan.
The newly completed Bajasthan Solar Transmission System Project by Rajasthan Solar Transmission Systems, India. The latter will buy electricity from the facility at a price of 2.58 rupees ($0.034/€0.031) per kWh for a period of 25 years.
Ranjit Gupta, Managing Director and CEO of Azure Power, commented: "We have brought nearly 700 MW into operation so far this fiscal year, reflecting our strong project development and ability to execute.”
Overall, the company currently operates 2,683 MW of renewable energy power plants in India.
