Average Price Of 0.0892 EUR/kWh! Germany Completes The Tender For Rooftop PV Projects.

Germany's Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) has announced the results of the country's seventh rooftop photovoltaic project bidding, bidding for the installed capacity of the roof photovoltaic system ranging from 300kW to 750kW.

The agency reviewed 194 bidding projects, with a total installed capacity of 278MW, and finally 125 roof photovoltaic projects won the bid, with a total installed capacity of 264.1MW. the final price of the winning roof photovoltaic project was 0.0690 EUR/kWh ~ 0.0948 EUR/kWh, with an average price of 0.0892 EUR/kWh.

Most of the winning rooftop PV projects will be installed in the German states of Lower Saxony (58MW), North Rhine-Westphalia (45MW), Bavaria (27MW), Rhineland-Palatinate (27MW) and Hesse (26MW).

In the sixth tender held in July 2023, the German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) awarded 191 MW of rooftop PV projects at an average price of €0.1018/kWh. In the fifth tender held in March 2023, the Bundesnetzagentur planned to call for 213 MW of rooftop PV projects, and 195 MW were awarded, with a final price of €0.0900/kWh ∼ 0.1125 EUR/kWh, with an average price of 0.1087 EUR/kWh.

In the fourth tender in August 2022, 201 MW of rooftop PV systems were finally awarded, with final prices ranging from €0.0820/kWh to €0.0891/kWh and an average price of €0.084. The third tender of the German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) took place in May 2022 with a final price of €0.07/kWh to €0.0891/kWh.

In the second PV tender in January 2022, the German Federal Network Agency reviewed 209 bids for rooftop PV projects with a total installed capacity of 233 MW. 136 rooftop PV projects with a total installed capacity of 154 MW were awarded the tender, with final prices ranging from €0.0570/kWh to €0.0828/kWh, and an average price of €0.0743/ kWh.

In the first photovoltaic tender in July 2021, the German Federal Network Agency received 168 bids, with a total installed capacity of 213MW, and 114 rooftop photovoltaic projects were awarded, with a total installed capacity of 152MW. the final price of the winning bids ranged from 0.0535 EUR/kWh to 0.0789 EUR/kWh, and the average price was 0.0688 EUR/kWh.
