Subsidies  for wind power dropped from 5.7 cents / kWh to 3.4 cents / kWh from  2010 to 2013 and dropped to 1.3 cents / kWh in 2016. PV subsidies are projected to be 7 cents / kWh by 2019, while wind subsidies rise slightly to 1.5 cents / kWh. Although  subsidies per unit of renewable energy are on the decline, as the scale  of renewable energy utilization increases, the total federal government  subsidy for renewable energy has risen sharply from US $ 8.6 billion in  2010 to 13.2 billion in 2013 Dollars.

It is noteworthy  that, in fact, the U.S. federal government also subsidizes coal,  natural gas and nuclear power with a small amount of about 0.05-0.2  cents / kWh.
