Solar cell array bracket roof installation method

Sep 26, 2018

The solar cell array bracket is used to support the solar cell array. The structural design of the solar cell array is to ensure that the solar cell array and the solar cell array bracket are firmly connected and reliable, and the solar cell array can be easily replaced. Brackets and other required materials (such as bolts) should be made of durable, rust-proof, UV-resistant materials. The solar array and bracket must be able to withstand 120km/h of wind without being damaged.

Since the solar cell array is installed on the roof, it has no land resources, can receive sunlight and generate green power, and the electricity generated can be consumed nearby. Therefore, the country has received strong support to install solar cells on the roof. There are usually four ways to do this.

(1) solar cell array bracket installation

In the bracket mounting mode, the solar cell array is supported by a metal frame and presents a pre-set tilt angle, and then the metal frame supporting the solar cell array is mounted on the bracket, and then the bracket is fixed to the roof by screws. Based on the bracket. This method of installation increases roof load and wind stress, but because the airflow path completely surrounds the solar array, the solar array can maintain a relatively low operating temperature, thereby increasing efficiency.

(2) Independent installation

The stand-alone installation method is to mount the solar cell array directly on the frame on the roof, which is parallel to the inclination of the roof and is 10-20 cm above the roof. The support rails are fixed to separate frames, and the solar cell array is fixed to the crossbars. The advantage of the independent installation method is that it provides a free-flowing path for the solar cell array. The disadvantage of the independent installation method is that it is difficult to maintain the solar cell array and replace the roof material.

(3) Direct installation

Direct installation refers to the installation of solar cell array components directly on the cover of a common roof, so there is no need to support the frame and the crossbar. The solar array must maintain the integrity of the seal with the roof covering, so it is often necessary to seal the roof with a suitable sealant. Directly mounted airflow does not flow around the solar cell array, which results in a solar cell array operating temperature of approximately 20 °C higher than other installations. Since the electrical connection of the solar cell array cannot be fully observed, it is difficult to inspect and maintain.

(4) Integrated installation

The integrated installation method is to install the solar cell array directly on the roof of the dice and replace the conventional roof covering with the solar cell array. The solar cell array bracket is sealed with glazed butyl elastomer or a gasket material with metal slats. This type of installation is suitable for use where the roof is facing and the dip is illuminated by sunlight. This type of installation is easy to ventilate, thus ensuring that the solar array operates at an efficient operating temperature. Since the solar cell array connection lines are exposed to the attic, this type of installation is easy to inspect and repair the line.
