Strategic Expansion in Andalusia
German renewable energy leader Q Energy has commenced construction of three utility-scale solar power plants in Spain's Andalusia region, with a combined capacity of 204MWp. This solar cluster is projected to generate 340GWh of clean electricity annually-enough to power over 92,000 Spanish households while reducing carbon emissions by 62,000 metric tons.

As full-cycle developer and EPC contractor, Q Energy will install 350,000+ bifacial photovoltaic modules on AI-optimized tracking systems, boosting energy yield by 18% compared to fixed installations. Spanning 450 hectares (1,112 acres), these projects are scheduled for phased completion from late 2024 through the second half of 2026.
Andalusia: Q Energy's Iberian Hub
The solar expansion reinforces Andalusia's position as Q Energy's strategic development corridor, where four additional photovoltaic facilities totaling 196MWp are currently under construction or nearing operational status. Combined with existing assets, the company's Iberian portfolio will soon exceed 400MWp of clean energy capacity-equivalent to displacing 450,000 tons of CO₂ annually.
