Description
Solar PV Ground Mount Systems uses mounting frames to secure solar panels to the roof or ground, ensuring that they remain stable in the face of external forces such as wind and snow. Some ground mount solutions utilize unique clamps that are secured to the lower flange of the module, allowing most of the installation to take place underneath the panel. Currently, top clamps are commonly used in the industry. These clamps secure the solar panel frame to the mounting rails or roof fixtures and also serve as spacers. This dual function simultaneously secures both elements, reducing the need for additional fasteners. This design strategy ensures ideal force distribution throughout the panel frame, increasing its static and dynamic load-carrying capacity.
