Q: Are the brackets made of stainless steel?
A: The brackets are constructed from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum, while the fasteners are made of durable stainless steel for added strength and longevity.

Q: Did others receive wing nuts and washers? My package had the plastic head bolts but no nuts...
A: All necessary mounting hardware, including wing nuts and washers, should be included in the package. If any parts are missing, please contact Wanhos customer support for assistance.

Q: Do you need to ground the aluminum brackets to the vehicle chassis?
A: Grounding is not typically required, as the solar panel frame is often made of non-conductive materials like plastic. The installation instructions do not recommend grounding the brackets to the vehicle chassis.

Q: Do these brackets fold up if you undo one end? I want to pack and use them freestanding for my panel.
A: Yes, the Wanhos tilt brackets can be disassembled by unscrewing the connecting ends, allowing you to fold and pack them for easy transport. This design also enables you to adjust the angle of the panels to match seasonal sun positions.

Q: Can they be tilted while driving?
A: Tilting the brackets while driving is not recommended, as it could pose a safety risk. For secure mounting, ensure the brackets are firmly attached to the roof using appropriate hardware, such as 3/8" bolts and oversized fender washers.
